Tough to Get Ressie for Dec. even at the 11 month?

The day is approaching for me to make ressies for our Dec. 2007 trip. Is it tough to get what you want even 11 months in advance?

MS is open today, right? And closed Monday?

We did not have any problem booking SSR (studio) for Christmas Week at the 11 month window last year. In fact, I booked using e-mail instead of calling. You didn't say what type of room, which resort, or when you are going...that may make a difference.

If you call at 11 months, the only rooms that can be difficult to get for December stays are:

Standard view rooms at the BWV
Guaranteed Boardwalk view rooms at the BWV, including the Grand Villas).

I define difficult as "necessary to call day by day if you don't want to waitlist".

It's best not to procrastinate for the following, but for a December stay, one call at 11 months will work just fine:

Any room at the VWL
Any room at the BCV
Grand Villas at OKW - At some point that may also apply to GVs at SSR, but I don't think we are there yet.

You should still be able to get PV - Pool/Garden at the BWV in December with one call as long as you call before the 7 month window opens. OKW & SSR almost always have rooms available at 7 months (they are larger than the others).

I am in the middle of making reservations at BCV and have had no problems with getting a one bedroom.
