TOTWL Capacity/Observation Deck

I see the capacity for TOTWL is 77, does anyone know if that includes the observation deck as well.

I believe that the observation deck has a capacity of 499 which would include those in the lounge.

I don't think that we have ever been there with more than 50 people.

Thank you. I know you need your DVC Member Card for TOTWL, do you also need it for the observation deck? Just wondering if the kids can go up to the observation deck w/out us and our cards while we are monorail resort hopping with the adults (re: pineapple drink at Poly!) TIA

When we have gone to the TOTWL, the only thing that we had to show was our KTTW card from BLT---we were not asked for the membership card, but all of us had to show the KTTW card.

I think it really depends on the CM working as to what they want to see--definitely at least one KTTW card, but beyond that, I have read many different requests.

As far as kids, IMO, I don't think they are going to allow kids up there without an adult.

You access the lounge from the observation deck. You only need to show your KTTW card that says 'DVC MEMBER' at the check-in desk on the 1st floor of BLT after 5pm. They will then escort you to an elevator and by use of a special key card send you up to the 16th floor.
