TOTW Lounge - anyone with large group experience?

Hi Everyone! Happy Friday!

Question: In the wording for the eligibility to access TOTW lounge it says "Each eligible Membership can enjoy Top of the World Lounge access for one party per day—which can include eligible Members and Guests staying on that Member's reservation".

Does that mean if I have booked 2 rooms on my account (all with points-big family trip) can EVERYONE from both reservations have access? Or just the room I am listed on? Or should I just ask to be lead guest on both to avoid an issue? We are talking 11 or 12 people total. Does anyone have experience with this situation? Also - I assume with that many people I would need to book one of the ticketed events to make sure everyone can get in/capacity issues. Will I be able to book that many tickets as long as everyone is on my room(s) and points?

I would love to know more about this. I just got off the phone with member services, and was told that the only thing I could book was Wicked Wind Down and it was only on Fridays. I thought that Enchantment at the Top Dessert Party was on Fridays, and Wicked Wind Down was other nights. I was also told that if I didn't make a reservation, but got off the waitlist as a first come first served, I would only be allowed on the patio, and would not be able to order food and drink. Why is this place so mysterious?! My next trip is a Friday (very late arrival) through Tuesday, so we can't make the Friday-only entry. The next trip is a race weekend, so I don't want to stay up for fireworks on a Friday night before a 10k at 3am!

I was told that it is only people who are on your current DVC reservation; I would think you would need to be split between several tables.

As long as you are eligible for membership extras, DVC Y, it doesn’t matter whether you are using your own points or not.

I was told only people in my room would be allowed. Also, we weren’t able to get reservations and added our name to the waitlist as soon as they opened. We were told only those in our party that were already there could be added to the WL. We were allowed to order drinks outside but no food. Initially the bartender came around before they were crowded but eventually he just served the outdoor line.

We were seated indoors about 10 mins before the fireworks began and were able to use the dining side of the patio to watch the fireworks.

No, as long as the reservations are under your membership, you can enter the total guests for both and the system will recognize it for you.

For example, if you had two studios booked with 4 each, just enter 8 and the system will match.

Just remember, the names have to be added by a specific date to get more than 5 allowed.

Is it correct we can no longer show our card and ressie, go up and get a drink and apps?
Do I have to book an actual party now to go up to drink/eat?
