Hi,
My niece is a freshman at NYU. For Christmas, she is asking for a black tote bag for school. She doesn't want a backpack but wants a tote style bag. So far I found 2 that I like - Baggalini for $50 and Timbuk2 for $70. Timbuk2 seems more durable, anyone else have any suggestions?

Thanks

I use a Vera Bradley tote bag. I don't know if you have these in your area, but they are VERY popular here. They're quilted and come in different patterns. I like that when it gets dirty, I can just throw it in the washer!

That's what I use to carry my books in. I like the designs they come in, and they're usually a good size.

DITTO! Can't go wrong with Vera Bradley :thumbsup2

I recommend LeSportSac :thumbsup2

Someone is going to say that their Grandma uses the brand but my bag is way cool (it has bright colors and people on it). My sister and I have been using their bigger bags for years for our books and they hold up well. My bag looks brand new and I've been using it every day for over a year.
