Totaly Awesome

So today i went in and turned in an application for a job at the local theater. Not even an hour later i got called and they want me to come in for an interview! Now i have never had a "real" job...Just volunteer work for many many years so i don't know what to expect.Would anyone who has had any experience with interviews be willing to give me some information?

I have never had a real job other than babysitting, but it sounds like a great sign that they called you back so quick. They must have liked what you had on your application.

I've only had room to put my clubs and any volunteer services i have done so there wasn't much to go off of. Hopefully my friend who works there puts in a good word for me too as I put his name on the application (had a place for it)

I'd really love to get this job! That would be awesome! Some money to put away and free movies!! How awesome.

lol i work at a movie theatre!!!

if they ask you questions like 'what would you do if someone told you they spilled their drink and wanted a new one...blah blah blah' just always say you'll give them a new one, the customer is always right, etc etc

if the movie theatre is an AMC i can totally help you out with all the policies and stuff too! lol


It's really fun to work @ a movie theatre! there's alot of young kids so it's really social AND free movies!!!!

Its not AMC but its pretty similar i believe...It a movie theater that only has chains on the west coast as of now. I cannot wait to find if i get this job or not! I need money for college right now, well to start saving up for college right now...I need to apply this summer!

Thats awesome! I've never gotten called back so fast. There are a lot of sites that offer interview tips for teens/young adults that i used for my last job.
