Totally surprised! AP Rate for August...

This morning I scored a STANDARD room at WL for $130/night AP rate for mid August. I'm shocked!!!! Online they only had Courtyard or Concierge categories available. Seriously, I'm stunned!

I didn't realize they had AP rates out after August 5th until I saw your post. We always like to go on our anniversary which is on August 6th and then we stay for my son's birthday on the 14th. I had the free dining for Aug 13th-24th, but I would rather have the AP rate and stay when I want Plus I think I'm an AP person. The free dining is great but I felt to tied down and that was way to much food for our family.
Now we are staying August 5th-16th. Right now we are staying two nights at the BC and the rest at the Polynesian. I'm waiting for the AKL CL to open up the last three nights.

AKL standard room for $130 for mid August just opened up this morning. I have been checking every day. Maybe now that free dining is over they released some rooms. We are very happy.

I called back yesterday and switched us to a standard at AKL. We've never stayed there before so we're excited. Can't beat the rate either!

I just checked random dates since I don't know yours...I checked August 7 for 10 nights and you can get a garden view standard room for $1,940.20 including tax with an AP...Hope this helps you!!!

Me too!!! I was so happy (and surprised) when they came out. We had CSR for 6 nights then BC for 5 nights both AAA, changed both to AP rates, then realized WL was only $130 a night and grabbed it instead of CSR (though I LOVE CSR). Can't wait!!! I noticed today that BC still has standard view for dates in August. Maybe it won't be too crowded this August...
