Totally OT: Hockey Parents of the Year

OMG, I am home alone and have to share this! I got a call from the MN Wild hockey team a few minutes ago, and DH and I are the Red Baron Hockey Parents of the Year They are giving us 4 tickets to Friday night's game, and presenting us with an award in front of everyone during the 2nd intermission. This is so cool!

Ok, huuuge hockey fan here (*cough*goflyers*cough*) Can I just tell you how totally awesome that is?! If you're lucky maybe they'll let you stick around and meet the players. James Sheppard, yay!<3 Ah I'm so jealous. You'll have to tell us how it goes

Hope you guys might be able to kick things into overdrive and make it into the playoffs? I'm not sure how many chances Minnesota might have left to make it though....But super awesome all the same. If I had gotten a phone call from an NHL team I would have died.

Congratulation. I think anyone that puts up sitting in the cold arena for there kids all deserve an award. I am from Minnesota too. I had 2 boys go through hockey, then when I thought I was finally done, they start up girls teams!!!!!!!!!!! They are all grown now and now the grandson started. But his dad is not to sure he wants to continue, because when you have a kid in Hockey, hockey becomes their life. My son also broke his leg this year when his son came up behind him on his skates and ran into him. Cheer LOUD, and keep the wild in it!!!!!!!!!
