Totally OT: A car crashed into my FIL's house last night!!

Fortunately he's OK, but he was in the room when the car came through the house!

They had just paid off their house and MIL was getting ready to retire. Hopefully this idiot had insurance.

WOW! Thankfully he was ok! I hope things work out for him... it looks like a newer car (so maybe he had a loan out on it... which means he should have to carry insurance.) To bad that he ran away... are they thinking the car was stolen? Thoughts and prayers w/your family~!

I don't think they know anything concrete yet because I've read 3 different stories and each had different info. When my BIL called, he said that the driver fled the scene so my guess would be something other than just driving fast was going on.
