Hi all! My parents have just decided that next year for family Christmas, they want to take us all to Universal. We have been to Disney as a family and they've taken my daughter several times and are really wanting to try something new. It will be my parents, me and dh, dd8 and ds 1, my ds, dh and their dd3.
Sooooooooooo, I'll take all advice, tips etc as to:
Where to stay with so many people, do some hotels have suites or is it better to every family get their own room? Onsite or off-site? Are rates out yet for that time of year?
My dd8 will be with her dad next Christmas so should we go right before Christmas or over New Year's... will the price difference be outrageous?
How many days/nights is best in order to be able to do most things you would want to do?
Does the Universal package include a dining plan like WDW and is it worth it?
Okay that's all I can think of right now. All suggestions will be appreciated as for some reason I always end up being the designated travel planner of the family!
