Totally illiterate on this subject - can you give me the basics

I am going to try this design thing and am totally not savvy on this type of thing.

I have read how I contact the designers and I think I have the etiquette figured out on that one.

Anyone offer a newcomer some advice.

1. After the design is done, where do I get the final copy from?

2. Any tips on the transfers? I am ordering Amy's transfers.

3. Any hints etc. moving forward about sizing etc.

4. What types of things have you had done besides t-shirts? Willing to share pictures?

This sounds so easy, but yet when things sound easy, they might be way too difficult for me!

I thought the designs were so CUTE that I couldn't resist trying!

1. After the design is done, where do I get the final copy from?
Typically you will make a request on a DISigners thread or post your own thread for something you are wanting. Either way the DISigner will post the final copy on the thread where your request was made.

2. Any tips on the transfers? I am ordering Amy's transfers.
Amy's are great and come with great instructions...the best tip that I can give you is to follow them. The only issue that I had is that my iron was too hot and the first set of transfers that I did were on red t-shirts and the red bled through the transfer paper. With most transfer paper...you can't get the iron hot enough but with Amy's you can.
