if the kids are on the dp do they get desserts at counter services? what happens if the counter service doesnt have desserts for kids :confused3 do they just get a dessert off the menu?

I'm pretty sure that at CS a dessert is a dessert; adult or child. Unless it is a kids combo then it may be limited to that days cookie or something.
Can someone confirm?

In dinner reviews with pictures on this site, seems like the kids meals come in the mickey-head shaped plates, and besides having a fruit/veg on the side they appear to have a cookie in some photos; one review I read even complained that the kids were disappointed because the "dessert" which came with the kids' combo meal was a container of applesauce. It doesn't look like the kids get to choose from all available desserts.

I can't remember, and it may be different at different CS restaurants. It seems like last year my 9 y-o had to have "kids" desserts at most CS restaurants. That said, by day three we were all so sick of dessert that it didn't matter, and we shared with her at CSs. :thumbsup2 I don't know how many adults vs. children you will have, but adults could always share with the kids if their desserts aren't what your kids want. After sugar overload, I was excited to get her grapes and apple slices!

By about day 7 of our trips last year and year before, we stopped ordering desserts at CSs at all. :rotfl2:
