We are heading to the west coast for a last minute trip and would like to spend a few days at DLR. I will be researching these DLR threads, but would appreciate any and all input from DLR vets. Hoping to stay on site, but that may not be realistic, we are going 6/27 - 7/8. Also any other Cal things to do, we'll have a rental car, will be going to SF for a few and down to SD, when the Ronald Reagan returns to port. I know it's a lot of driving. We also may want to check out a few national parks. Thanks in advance for any info.

Welcome to California :sunny:

A lot of us are locals and can give you some good tips on the Los Angeles area, San Diego, San Francisco, & the National Parks (you can check the links in my signature for my trip reports to Yosemite & Sequoia).

Just a recommendation that you don't try to do too much, and concentrate on just a couple of areas, due to the time factor of your visit.
