Hello everyone! I was googling for stories of children who had their dreams for a Disney trip granted to see a little about how it works and came across this board. I'm Melissa. I have two daughters, 9 and 5 and I've been married to a great guy for almost 11 years. I went to Disney World a couple of times as a child, but otherwise have not been so it's completely new to us.
My 5 year old has mitochondrial disease. Our pediatrician referred us to Dream Factory on Thursday, and they emailed me and will be calling tomorrow! I was hoping to post some questions about how the process works from beginning to end, but I'm not sure which forum is appropriate.
If we are approved, it would be amazing and I'll look forward to planning out trip with some seasoned Disney veterans!
