First, let me apologize. I have scanned all of the FAQs and board, but I can't find an answer, so please be kind regarding my lack of knowledge.

Do the point values in the charts reflect points needed per night or does it reflect a week's stay total when it says "weekly"?

I know- totally stupid question, but I believe that kindness will prevail!

There is no discount for weekly, the weekly amount is simply the total of 5 weekdays and 2 weekend nights.

Is that what you need? You do not have to stay a week.

So if the resort is 14 points a night Monday- Thursday and 16 points Fri & Sat the total number of points need for a Monday - Sunday stay would be 88 points. your check out date doesn't count because you are not staying the night.

You can choose to stay however many days you want it doesn't have to be a week it can be 2 day or 14 days whatever you wish pending availability of course. If someone is renting a confirmed reservation that reservation has already been made and you would need to rent all days. Yes if it is a fixed week and it is 243 points that's what the requirement is. Different room cats girlies have different point amounts based on size and view. My last post was just an example.

Just so you're aware, if your reservation crosses seasons, say for instance you have a 7 night reservation beginning 1/28/18 in adventure season and ending ion February 3, 2018, Dream season the weekly totals would not apply. You would have 4 nights in Adventure Season and 3 nights in Dream season.

"Weekly" amounts are just provided for convenience and is only applicable if your entire stay is within the same season. If your nights cross seasons then you need to calculate manually. The "weekly" totals are for 7 consecutive nights so yes, 5 week nights and 2 weekends but as mentioned it's the same amount as when you add the individual nights up.

Since DVC is a point based system with no minimum nights required you can stay any number of nights and check in any day of the week.
