I don't know if this is posted in one of the ToT race threads, but the location for the packet pickup has changed.

This is taken from the WWOS website:

"Please note that the mandatory packet pick-up location has changed. Mandatory packet pick-up will now take place at Downtown Disney Pleasure Island in Motion Friday, October 26 from 3pm - 8pm, and on Saturday, October 27 from 10am - 4pm.

If you purchased extra party tickets or a commemorative pin in advance, you may also pick these up during packet pick-up hours. Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 13k & 6.5k event merchandise will be available for sale during packet pick-up, as well as during the race at Disney-MGM Studios."

Make sure you make a note of it.

Wow! Thanks for letting us know.

Thanks Cobbler!!!! I'd been on that page 2 or 3 times today and never noticed it. Course I was only scanning for a link to the final instructions (still not posted) but still you'd think I would have noticed the new BOLD caption :confused3

Thank you very much for pointing it out and how exciting they are saying MERCHANDISE wooohooo!!!!

It is what it is, but I'm bummed they changed the location. Now we have to go back to our hotel or another resort to go to Downtown Disney. I'm so excited though for this run.

Maybe now they can put up the "Final Instructions" for the race. For RFTT, they were up 4 weeks in advance. For ToT they will be up only for maybe a week and a half:(

I only noticed it because I wanted to write down the time for the pickup at WWOS. I couldn't find the thread about it here so I went to the website. I guess it is good I didn't find the thread about it here ;)

Wow! I would have been so lost! Thanks for posting:thumbsup2 Bumping this up for the other TOT folks.:) I can't believe I'm leaving in 8 days.:scared1:

Tricky. Thank goodness WISHers are looking out for us all! :goodvibes

Did someone say "merchandise?!" :cool1:

Sadly, it doesn't look like there will be final race instructions. I called the other day for something (I now can't remember what) and asked. The guy I spoke to said there won't be any because this is considered a 'fun' race. How it's different from the Race for The Taste or others escapes me. I asked if it would be chip timed, he said that "he thought so".

Disney replied to me by email last week that Final Instructions would be out late this week. Only 3 more days left in the week:rolleyes1

Leave it to Disney for one hand to not know what the other hand is doing... :) Hopefully the email you got is right, although we leave for WDW Friday morning so final instructions after that won't be of much help.

We head to Reno to stay tomorrow night and fly out early Fri morning also. I will check the web at DIA while waiting for connection:)

I would like to know by Friday as well. We are leaving very, very early Saturday morning. And (gasp!) won't have internet access while in WDW since we don't have a laptop!

Not only that, but who wants to pay those outrageous prices for internet access? $20 a day is excessive when most of the rest of the hotel world gives it away for free!

Do the Disney resorts have a business center like most other hotels do nowadays? I always check email at those places when traveling anywhere but Disney.

I would guess that any resort that has a convention center (Contemporary, Coranado Springs,...) would have a business center of some sort.
