ToT or RnR

Doing HS at rope drop. No FP for either but want to ride both. Which one should we head to first?

I would do RnR then ToT.

Both should have short lines at rope drop, because most people will be headed for TSL or GE. But I would check the typical waits at that hour, as listed on Touring Plans.

I would do ToT first because RnRC has bigger capacity. By riding RnRC 2nd the queue would go down quicker. That said, I would try and ride them both as many times as I could.

I would do RnR first. In my experience, they typically send you right through and skip the pre-show at rope drop. So you should be able to get through pretty fast then head to TOT.

I do RnRC first. It's faster to get in and out of.

If you are doing both at RD, it shouldn't matter. The crowds will be headed to TSL and SWGE.
Both rides should be walk on for the better part of 30+ minutes.
I would do RnRC, maybe twice, then ToT.

Like others have said, that side of the park should be pretty quiet at rope drop. I'd plan those two around which ride I'd want to ride more times - and do that one second.

For us, we could ride ToT all morning and be happy, so I'd ride RnR once, maybe twice, then go to ToT.

Another vote for RnRC! Should be able to do twice as a walk-on if you want to, then head to ToT which should be a very short wait, if any.

RNRC for sure. You can ride it twice in the time you can do TOT once.

Tower of Terror! It's my favorite ride in Hollywood Studios... who cares about wait times on other rides? Right?

It won't matter too much which one you do first. Both will have short lines that move fast. Most people are going to rope drop SW or Toy Story.

With the new tiering at HS, RnRC and ToT are both easy to get as 4th+ FPs.

I'd go to RnR first. We have not had much luck with ToT lately. Last trip, it was constantly down on our first DHS day and we went back several days later for our SDD fastpass and it was down again. I was ok with it because it is not my favorite, I only go on it because my son loves it. He was a little bummed but it is Disney....plenty more to do!!

It's a toss up really, but I've seen ToT delay opening one side of the ride til later in the morning causing a quick line to emerge. If both sides are open, then its a line guzzling machine. RnRC you can always do single rider to skip any line that comes in.
