ToT closing for rehab

I just read that ToT will close for rehab 10/13-10/19. Does anyone know if this means it will be CLOSED on Columbus Day, or will it close that night when the park closes (i.e., if we go to Studios on Monday 10/13, can we ride ToT?)?

I'm pretty sure it means it is closing down 10/12 at closing time, and will be closed 10/13.

I hope they have something else to help MGM, This rehab is going to cost them a lot of money of the holidays.... they alos took away the Christmas light show in December... It is almost not worth going to MGM anymore and spend another day at another park.

TOT should be back up Oct. 20th, so I don't think it'll be closed over the holidays. Not having the Osbourne Light for a year is unfortunate, but since it's to add a new permanent attraction, I think it's worth it. I heard that the lights will be relocated for the following Christmas.

The residential street portion of the Backlot Tour has been demolished. In its place they are building an attraction similar to the stunt show at Disneyland Paris. Projected opening is 2005.

The Osborne lights display--which normally decorated the residential street during the holidays--has been cancelled for 2003, and will be relocated for 2004.
