What is the usual wait time while you guys/gals have been there, I have never been on it and when I tryed before (which would have been the one in florida the wait was 3 hours.....) the line was huge.

We go during the off season and I have never seen the que more than 45 minutes. However, if it is longer than 20 minutes, I always grab a FP.

If I hit it about around 11am in like 10days should the line be around 30mins ish or should I FP it.

When my family and I were at DL in 2005, we only used fast pass to ride TOT, and the wait STILL seemed horribly long!:headache:

About how long have others out there had to wait in the fastpass line for TOT?

plus is the line outside or is it outside/inside?

Both. There is part of the que outside, then it goes inside. Then after the movie room there is another que inside.

I have no idea what the wait time will be at 11 am in 10 days. I think the only way to know for sure is to purchase ridemax. I would say if you find the wait time over 30 minutes, just get a fp. You will still have about a 15-20 minute wait inside after the movie room, but it will be a lot less than you would have if you didn't use the fp.

FP = Smart move and Instant Gratification (well almost instant)

Waiting in 45 min ride ques = wasting hard earned $$ on standing in line. Not so smart move

By the way... I still had some time left on my ridemax license so I popped in ToT and on the 12th at 11am you're looking at 25 minutes wait w/o FP. On Sat the 14th you can expect that to increase about 5-10 minutes.

The wait time for ToT is always 13 minutes.

I think you were still experiencing the ride when it was fairly new. I've gone a few times over the past 1 1/2 years and haven't had to wait much longer than about 15 minutes with or without FP.

13 minutes is the minimum wait time they will list on their board. It's kind of a joke. However, there have been many times I have seen it at 20, 30 and 45 minutes. One time in April during the last day of the two-fer special, I saw it at 60 minutes. That was a bad day at DCA.

Last September during the week the wait was around 20 minutes each time we rode it.
The FP machines were not on.

You said in another thread that you're going in July right? The lines for ToT should be manageable (less than 20) from 10 until around 11:30-12. Then the lines start getting longer up to 45-60 minutes. FP is a good thing, but on this ride, even with FP, you'll still wait at least 15/20 minutes because of the preshow and the line after the preshow.

We were just there, rode it probably 5 times, never waited more than 5 minutes to get into the library to view the video. The que from the videos to the elevators were not full either, pretty much walked up and stood on a number.

yeah the line is never longer than 2 mins seriously. there is never any line outside the lobby. i just got back from two weeks over there!

If the wait is like 2 or 5 mins like you ppl say then thats pretty awsome.

We were just the for a week over the 4th and never stood more than 10 minutes for the entire ride.

We were there earlier this week for 3 days. Sunday- walk on, Monday- 40 min, Tues- 40 min.

Good luck!

we were there three weeks ago...depends where you count the wait from. Even if you Fp it, you'll still wait inside (past the library) for 15 mins or so, esp. if they are not running all the lifts. Have fun.
