OH NO! I have to make a decision. My daughter is 7- she says she wants to do the 6.5k with me. I've ordered her a WISH shirt and everything, but she seems to be way more focused on the shirt, the accessories, the medal, the ride, etc... Haven't heard much about the actual race!

We'd be walking of course!
DH totally doesn't want to go. I'd almost resolved myself to not going- after all I did the Minnie and will be going Goofy, but now I've got DD totally obsessed with it. So, my mom has volunteered to come and watch the baby (who will probably be passed out by the time the race starts anyway- not too hard a job!)
How's this sound as an argument for going-- DD tried really hard to eat healthy and exercise this summer. She should get this as a reward for all her hard work. Certainly a race is positive reinforcement for being healthy!
If I can keep a straight face, I might be able to pull this off.
Maybe I should just sign us both up with the understanding that I may be throwing the fees away...

Oh, and a WISH day would be fabulous!
