ToT 5K-anyone not able to make it? Please Help.

While waiting for my leave from work to be approved, 5K filled up.
I signed up for 13K, but really don't think I will be able to finish.

Does anyone know of someone who won't be able to go?
I really would rather go in the 5K. Know I can finsh that one.

Any suggestions or thoughts out there?

Please help.

Don't have any help for you with regards to the 5k entrance - but walk the 13k with me!!!
I can tell you from last year's experience, the 18 minute mile is do-able, even with bad knees/ankles/etc. And, I had a friend that couldn't keep up with it and she experienced "Disney Magic" (ie: the "sweep cart" would advance her further along the race route, she'd walk for a while until she got "magic'ed along" again, walk for a while, repeat...) She got to cross the finish on her own, and got a medal. It's MUCH less picky than the marathon weekend races.

I promise you, I'll be at the back of the pack the entire way and I'm happy to have company!
