Anybody here willing to keep a list of DIS ToT runners in pace groups so maybe some of us can hook up and run together?? I'm not a consistent enough board follower (with two kids playing ball!) to do it justice. But I'd love to meet a few folks who run at my pace; be fun to chat and pass time in the corral and take pics for each other during the race. Anyone? I know a lot of folks would appreciate it!
I'm taking your suggestion, cgattis, and running with it! I copied the info on the runners that have posted on your thread as well. :thumbsup2
I'll update this list at least weekly.

Perhaps people might decide on a mini meet for their pacegroups in the day of/before/after the run as well (I didn't see any threads devoted to Meets for TOT 2012, let alone for various pacegroups of TOT 2012).

Somebody mentioned pacebunnies -- any confirmation on these for TOT 2012?

What's your Pace Group? Steady or 10&1s?

And, just to keep the thread short and neat, just "reply" instead of "Quoting"! Thanks!:thumbsup2

I'm hoping for 10-11 min/mile for the actual run, but as I have no idea how I'll react to the humidity.:faint:
I arrive earlier the week & plan on getting 2 slow/easy evening runs in to acclimate (13-15min mile to begin with...), hopefully that will do me well!

We are hoping to do 9-11 min mile pace. Our longest run so far was 9 miles.:cool1:
Can't wait!

Aww, thanks, WalkingintheFog! Neat to see my own post quoted!! I'll be falling in the "under 11" group. The flat course and lack of sun might put me closer to 10's, but photo stops will drop that back closer to 11. Totally zoned on sending in my qualifying time; hope there's not a huge line for that at the expo! Headed out to do 5 this morning! Can't wait for the ToT and to meet some DIS'ers!!!

I will be running with another person so my time will depend on hers. Her best per minute time and mine are about 3 minutes per mile different. However, I ran a 10k recently with an injury and got a 12:27 minute pace. So I am hoping that she will be able to meet that and I won't be any slower than that since that is about half way between my best and hers.

DH and I are planning to run together, even though we usually don't and it is the last night of our vacation so hard to say but my guess would be around an 8-8:30 min/mile pace.

I'm hoping for a 14mm, but I know there will be some awesome character stops on this one....

I usually run just under or over a ten minute mile. With character stops, a night run, heat and a running partner who is faster, it's all up in the air. My DD will be waiting for us at the party. A costume will not make a difference, because it will be run friendly (minimal).

I'm thinking I'm going to be about a 12 mm. :yay: I'm hoping to finish under 2 hours.

Just finished my 10k with a 13:24 pace. Hoping to keep a 13:30 pace for the 10 miler. I'm a walker if that makes a difference.

I should be somewhere in the 8-8:30 range and the missus should be somewhere around 10 flat. Being that it's the start of our vacation hopefully we'll have fresh enough legs to get it done! :thumbsup2

Dh and I are hoping for 12min/mile pace. We'll see what 'entertainment' Disney throws at us to entice us to go slower!
