ToT 10 Miler 2014 Registration?

Does anybody know when the registration for the ToT 10 Miler opened in 2013? I'm assuming it'll be more or less around the same time for the 2014 ToT.

Also, does anybody know how quickly the 2013 ToT sold out?

My daughter's birthday is the first week of October and for her birthday this year we surprised her with a trip to the 2014 ToT 10 Miler. So now our family is on a 1 year fitness challenge to get ourselves ready for the run. Needless to say the pressure is really on me to make sure we don't miss out when registration opens

February 12 for the 2013 race. I would assume the same date period. AP, DVC and Disney Card holders get an early opening and a small discount.

I do not recall how fast it sold out but I did not enter until I knew I was sure to relocate to MCO, so it was at least April. I would not expect 2014 to be any faster since this will not be a 5th interval anniversary.

The best thing I can recommend is get on runDisney's mail alert for the race. You will get an email noting the registration opening.

I also want to say congratulations on your challenge. Keep in mind that it's the small steps that count. Huge leaps generally have a rebounding fall back. I would also suggest journalling your progress. It will help you realize how far you have come through the year.

I'm really hoping to squeeze in a long weekend trip for this race in 2014, but I'm not sure my budget will allow it. I'd love to do the race and hit up both MNSSHP and Universal's Halloween Horror Nights.

BUT, I am spending a lot of money on my marathon trip this Jan, I am hoping to run Dumbo in Sept, and I have to buy a new car next year!
