ToT 10 Mile Packet Pick Up

The rundisney site says runners are required to attend the Health and Fitness Expo at ESPN to pick up their race number and packet. Is there a fee to attend this event?

There is no fee to enter wide world of sports and pick up your packet.

There will be vendors there.

This is why there's no fee. The expo is all about shoppppiiinnnggg! They want you (runners and non-runners) to spend, spend spend! (I should know, I did some damage at the 2012 WDW marathon expo!)

No fee but like the others said it's an opportunity to look at some of the latest running gear and/or gadgets, purchase your runDisney finisher shirts or other running clothing/shoes. I always spend way too much at these events with the exception of Expedition Everest which had really nothing to look at or purchase... thank goodness.

Yes. No fee. But they still would love for you to dump your wallet at the door.

I should point out that you can get discounts on some stuff. The vendors normally sell their products at a discounted rate, and there are discounts available at the Disney merchandise area. I picked up an "I did it!" shirt, a marathon Mickey plush and a coffee mug this January and I remember the CM gave me a double discount - both an AP and Disney Visa discount! I'm not sure how normal this is, but if you have an AP or Disney Visa, make SURE you show it to the CM who is ringing up your merchandise purchases at the expo.

while I have never bought anything at an expo, but I am NOT a shopper. I did take away a good sized bag of LOOT! me felt like a pirate! hats, waterbottles, samples, recipies, sunglasses for the kids.. We really enjoyed the cooking demonstrations etc. ENJOY it!
