Tossing around ideas - which studio?

I am trying to decide on which resort to stay at in December. I am leaning towards getting a Studio and wondering which place is better.

AKL - Is the Standard view at Jambo house the parking lot or could it be the pool?

Beach Club or Boardwalk? Which would be better? If at Boardwalk where do you have to go to get your mug refilled with coffee?

Wilderness Lodge Villas - any draw backs?

Please help!

Standard at Jambo House is pool or might be a redefined savanna view (like near the people pens or on a corner).

If I had to do a studio, I'd do OKW and get two real queen beds instead of a queen bed and a double sleeper sofa. But BLT will be the worst because it is the smallest studio. Very tiny.

At the boardwalk you either go outside to the boardwalk bakery or to the bell vue lounge for coffee refills. If you really like to swim and spend time by the pool, beach club may be better than the boardwalk. Otherwise they're both nice and have similar amenities. I think they are slitly better than wl just because you have easy access to two parks, one walking. Plus you have many more dining options near and in epcot, except quick service. Qs is probably better at wl.

I can't think of any drawbacks to staying at the Wilderness Lodge Villas, it's Lovely
( ok, I admit it, it's our favourite :)

We had a 2 bedroom at AKV which had a studio, but this past week we had a BW view at BWV. I don't have words to express how utterly AWESOME it was!! The only negative thing was to fill the mugs you had to go to the BW Bakery and the halls can be long.

I would recommend Boardwalk Villas because of their theme/atmosphere and their walkways to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

Also besides the Boardwalk Bakery and Belle Vue Lounge you can also get refills of Coffee at Seahsore Sweets and Boardwalk Joes. Now another location where the mugs can be used is the Boardwalk Pizza Window, however I don't think they have Coffee available over there. Finally for health reasons the Cast Members don't refill the mugs, you would get your Coffee in a paper cup.

The Boardwalk is such a fun place, but it can be a pain to ask someone to refill your coffee mug. I prefer just going and getting myself, so for that reason I like the BC. Decemeber may not be warm enough to enjoy SAB, so each has its drawbacks. Then again, if coffee is a must, the the Poly rocks because of the Kona Cafe!

But, alas, the Polynesian has no studios.

BCV probably has the easiest coffee stop.

We've done the studio at WLV.....good offer from Disney but didn't really care for the room.....we're big fans of WL, over 10+ stays in the regular lodge...the room isn't much bigger than a regular room in the main lodge and the sleeper sofa was not to our liking, and the one queen bed.....now this was a few years ago and the TV was the old small TV in an amoire....as for the kitchenette......really didn't matter, what can you cook in a micro wave but the little bigger fridge was ok....

Our problem with WLV was it's location to the rest of the resort....it's closer to the bus depot but furtherest from the boat launch....long walk to Roaring Forks, villa pool is quaint but we enjoy the commotion and antics of the main pool and hot tubs......don't get me wrong, it's a nice room, very quiet in the building but it was just the logistics of what we were used to and the size of the studio....we went back to the main lodge in regular rooms with the 2 queens and flat screen TV.....north wing is our preference.....other resorts might offer a better layout but we're not willing to try one on a WDW vacation when we know our favorite resort has what we prefer, location, location and location....
