Tortuga Tavern Question

Anyone know if Tortuga Tavern will be open during Septermber 19-27? I look forward to this EVERY year for the past 5+ trips but since it is seasonal and my luck isnt that great, it is always closed. I go different dates and still closed, but I refuse to go during busy summer just to get my fill of good food

I have been in Sept, Oct, May, Dec and Jan and have NEVER seen that place open. I doubt it will be open...but best of luck to you!!

No one knows if or when TT will be open, but last year I went in early October and it was open, and pretty good. It's usually only open for lunch, so check before 2 if you want to try it.

It was open this end of May - (I know that doesn't answer the "will it be open in Sept" question>) - but we finally got to eat at the elusive CS...and it was not good..at all... So don't be super sad if is isn't. You can get the same greasy Taco Salad at Peco's Bills next door (with a better toppings bar I might add).

I've been down there in May and July and it's been open, but only for lunch.

It was open early May for lunch. I think they are opening it more often but no way of knowing for sure. Good luck

For the very 1st time in the many years I've been visiting Disney, unbelieveably, it was open this past June, unfortunately we had already eaten lunch! Bummer! I'm checking again in August, before we eat!

It was open this past December. My daughter and I ate there on one of the days we were doing MVMCP.

OMGosh, same here. HORRIBLE heartburn. It was so bad that I ended up putting a pillow under the mattress to give it some lift because I was worried about reflux.

DS goes every year the week before you are going and it is open. The problem is it is only open until 3pm. Last year in late Nov, early Dec and early March it was open. I think it is open more than we think because it closes so early. BTW I get the taco salad and have not had heartburn and when I eat tacos at home I always get heartburn!
