Tortuga Rum Cake!

I know where the shop at Nassau is. But does any one who recently sailed on the Dream know if they sale the Tortuga Rum cakes in any of the shops on board the Disney Dream? Not been on the Dream yet

I don't remember seeing any cakes on the ship but you can buy them from Amazon in quite a few different flavors.

It's been 11 months since our cruise on the Dream, but they did not have rum cakes. We had to get ours from the place near the port in Nassau.

on the fantasy they sell them so I don't know why they wouldn't be on the dream. they were in the store that sells the liquor. several flavors. now they were more expensive than the shops in port so I would price them and then check at your stop to compare.

Unless you want to eat it on board, I found that Amazon prices were much cheaper than in grand Cayman when I visited and way easier than carrying it home. That being said, now that I know how to make rum cake, I don't actually buy Tortuga rum cakes any more, so easy, just bake a cake and sprinkle coconut rum on it and last time I also used orgeat, an almond syrup.

We were looking for them on the Dream when we first went and were told they did not have them. The Fantasy does not carry them either. We purchased them on the Magic though and have seen them on the Wonder.

Can anyone tell me how close the Grand Cayman store is to where you get off the ship? We'd like to do Boatswain's and stop to sample to rum cake. Would we have to travel far to find it? TIA!

You can also mail order directly from Tortuga Rum Cakes. It's great to open the freezer and see those treats waiting. We have had them frozen for over three years and they still taste perfect when thawed!
