Tortola beer/wine

Is there anywhere close to the ferry dock or ship pier to buy beer or wine to bring back on the cruise?

I hit Google Maps to check what was around the pier - this link should show a couple of places Bobby's Supermarket looks closest. Bound to also be some small stores that sell at least beer. Hope this helps

I saw that too. I wondered if anything new and opened since they are improving the pier. St. Thomas has a store right next to the dock

I read that the improvements are still going on? Looks like you are going ahead of us so if you get the chance pass on any info you may have. This will be our 10th DCL sailing but it is like our first when it comes to Tortola as DCL has not been there in years just starting again here recently so there is not as much info here on the boards about Tortola related things yet. Enjoy your cruise.

I read somewhere the best place is a kmart down the street from the wharf

We just got off the fantasy today. I didn't find a good spot to buy beer/wine in Tortola so we didn't. It was very easy in St thomas, we went to gourmet gallery. Tortola has a cigar bar that will sell carry out beer but it is $30/6pack, there is also a natural juice bar/store that sells beer as well but they were $4/each. I found in St thomas if you walk through enough jewelry stores you will probaby be able to collect your beer allowance for free since they hand them out commonly to customers
