Tortola Beaches

Our cruise currently has all tours booked for our day in Tortola, what are suggestions on how to travel to a beach to spend the day? Which beaches are best without having to take a ferry? Are taxis sitting around at beach sites at return times to get back to port or do additional arrangements need to be made? Any other additional info or insight you have is welcome.

We were there in December. You just walk through the port to the other side and there are transportation vendors. We took a van (with some other passengers) to Cane Bay Beach. It's over the other side of the "mountain" and it's a lovely beach with amenities. Had a great day.
