Toronto DIS Meet Ideas

Ok people....... I can make it on a Sunday ONLY if I can get the afternoon off and it needs to be after 1:00 so I can get from Peterborough. Or I have the just meet you guys later that day.

Anywhere is ok for me except dowtown, it needs to be off the highway some where.

Janet - Lauren is looking forward to seeing Tanya again (see wanted to see her this weekend in London)
She thinks we should join you on the cruise next year.....She's a chip off the old block, isn't she!?! Makes her mom proud!

Is Sunday the best day for most? Wendy, do you work every Sunday?

When ~ April, May or June??

Where suggestions so far:

Square One Food Court (getting there before the stores open on a Sunday, worked well in the past)
Rain Forest Café, Yorkdale
Casey's, Sherway Gardens
Mr. GreenJeans, Eaton Centre (parking cost involved though)

How about if in warmer weather: Toronto Zoo, Canada's Wonderland or Toronto Islands?

Disneykins said she has checked for access to the Shell Service Center's upstairs and the doors have been locked everytime they have stopped by there.

Regarding the cruise - go for it! You won't regret it! We've got a great bunch already on board! Hey we have to continue the legacy!LOL

Sorry.... with the wedding and the relatives coming from England plus Mother's day and the wedding and the honeymoon family trip to WDW.... That's most of May for us!
Maybe we can make the next one?
Maybe we could do Ontario Place or something in the summer?

May is ok as long as it's not the week of May 15-23 because we are hoping to be at WDW that week. Any other time would be great.

The weekend of the 15th in May is not good for us either we are having Madisons 3rd b day party for the kids on the 15th and the family one on the 16th. But anytime before or after would work for us. Saturday or Sunday is fine as long as we know a couple weeks in advance. I like the Toronto Zoo idea we are planning on taking the kids this summer and think it would be great to visit the zoo with all our DIS friends.

I also think the Zoo would be a great idea. We were planning on taking the kids there this year and a Dis Meet would be a great added bonus. As far as the weather is concerned June is a better bet I think. May can be very rainy.

That way we won't have to worry about the kids playing under tables, or throwing food at other patrons, or eating with knives, or disturbing adults! They can do that to the Animules!LOL

Zoo works for me too. If possible, can we avoid scheduling the meet on June 6? I have a family dinner that I must attend and I have to cook during the day! I don't want to miss my first DIS meet!
