Toronto DIS Meet Ideas

We haven't had a meet in Toronto for a while now. The last one was at Square One, if I remember correctly.

Let's start talking about another one ~ who's interested and where and when would you like to hold it? Don't forget that the London meet is this weekend (March 27).

Wherever, but can we make it on a Sunday. Saturday at the malls are a little crowded! Unless of course, we do the RFC Yorkdale. Or how about Mr. GreenJeans at the Eaton Centre. Or Casey's at Sherway Gardens.

Sundays would work for us if we have enough lead time so Lisa can book off from work. We are heading to a meet in Ohio in May at one of the folks places we met at the OKW meet while we were at Disney in Dec that should be fun

At a DIS meet we show pins, pictures etc., talk disney, usually eat, talk Disney, talk Disney and talk some more. Lots of fun because everyone has different experiences.

There are also some other restaurants that we could meet at if we get a large group! Don't want to monoplize any Food Courts or small restaraunts!LOL

I find the DIS meet in a more informal area (ie food court) to be much more conducive for talking and moving around than in a restaurant. I don't suppose the upstairs food court in Mississauga ,at the service station on the 401, is still available (re: DIS meet about 3 years ago). Does anyone remember that place? It was great...private and food available.

But I'm still game for anywhere

Suzanne, what dates will you be away? I'm sure we could work something out.

Dave, the last time we used the Shell Service Centre, SandraC had to practically beg them to open up the upstairs area as they don't seem to use it any longer. Maybe someone who lives in that area could check it out again. It was a great spot for a DIS meet.

Pencil me in for right now.Sundays are good at this time(unless hubby's work schedule changes again)and of course soccer season has started.So I will just have to check the practice,game,tournament,meeting schedule for what ever date you guys pick.
