Northwest Indiana here and I am a little nervous also. I am more nervous about DH trying to get home from the race.

Stay safe! Three people died north of Kansas City. I felt bad because the news station helicoptor was chasing them and we saw one from start to finish and were fascinated. They are so good with warning this time that I was confident there would be no fatalities.

I left Greencastle alittle over three hours ago and it was bad and the the tornado and bad weather had just started. My inlaws all live near there. I own a house there. So please stay safe!!!

Yes, we are north of Indy and it is getting nasty. Apparently, the roof was torn off of a nursing home and they showed footage of patients in their beds and rolling around in wheelchairs. I hope nobody was injured.

I heard about that. That was scary. My Dad won't change the channel! I hate storms. Everyone stay safe please.

Just saw the footage on TV about the nursing home. I hope nobody was hurt.

They say storms will be back to back for at least the next few hours. Very scary..

OMG YOU ARE IN PLAINFIELD?!!?!?!? I am literally within miles of you when I am at school.

I am watching really close with my school being out there and my boyfriend being out there. Tornadoes have hit both Greencastle my school's town and Terre Haute where my boyfriend is.

Sam, it's ok. Check on the news websites, they will have a radar and specifics to where the worst of it is. Then you don't have to be so scared.
Do you know what all to do? Like going to the basement if you have one or an interior room, preferably with no windows. Do you have a portable radio? That can help too.

There are tornados everywhere tonight. Please be careful out there.

From what I heard about the nursing home, they were taking people to hospitals by ambulance and by buses. Just to check them out if nothing else.


And darn it, the Pacers lost tonight.

My inlaws live in Clarksville in southern Indiana and said a tornado blew down tons of trees and roads are blocked but fortunately they are ok. It must be so scary for all of you.
