I actually live in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where the tornado destroyed most of our city. I teach a preschool class of 4 year olds, and our preschool was destroyed by the tornado. We are blessed enough that another church has offered us space in their church. We are open again, but we are without most anything we had before.
To raise morale in my class, I'd love to have a shirt for all my kids to wear. It doesn't have to be fancy or Disney, although the theme of our class this year is Mrs. Dawn's Magic Kingdom of Learning. Not really sure what the shirt should say, and I am sure that is due to lack of sleep and exhaustion.
Some ideas I had were:
1. Toy Story Theme: You've got a friend in me.
2. Peter Pan Theme: All it takes it faith and trust, and a little bit of pixie dust.
3. The letters CDS with characters inside
As you can see, I am not being that creative today. After spending 3 days of sifting through rubble, and having to have my classroom set up in 4 hours, I am not thinking clearly.
Any designs would be appreciated!
