we are going at the end of october.. i'm kind of torn which hotel to go to.. its me, my hubby and our two boys- will be ages 4 and 6 when we go... which do you think .. art of animation in a cars room or beach club.... they both have pros and cons.. just trying to figure out which will be best!

I'd pick BC! Best pool on property, great resort, walk to Epcot. and boat to DHS, or walk.

Out of the two of them, I would also pick BC, but if you can save money and you won't be spending much time in your room then I would go with other. It's brand new. I'm sure it will be nice too.:goodvibes

I love BC! The ease of transportation is the best. It would be my resort of choice if I had an unlimited budget.

I have stayed at BC MANY times and at Pop a few time (I know it's not AoA, but it's similar).

Given that it's something that isn't going to kill your vacationing budget, I'd definitely go with BC. At that time of year, the Epcot resorts are prime real estate because of the Food & Wine Festival so being able to walk to that at any time is a HUGE plus. Especially if you and your husband plan on sampling some drinks. But one thing to look out for is that the availability is sometimes limited for these resorts because of this.

The pool at BC is unmatched by any other pool on property. If your boys love swimming, it's a no brainer.

The big downside for me about BC is the transportation to MK, AK and DTD. It's horrible. MK isn't as bad because the bus is only shared with YC, but for AK and DTD, the bus is shared with Swan, Dolphin, YC, and BW and it is stop number 4 between YC and BW. And sometimes it's OK, but sometimes going to AK or DTD as the 4th stop means there are no seats left or going back to BC, it's and extra 10-40 minutes depending on the capacity and slowness of the other stops. I have found it's much more mentally draining knowing that you're so close but it's seems so far.

We are going to have our car down there with us, after staying at POFQ and being on the bus for over 30-45 minutes - we decided that it would be so much easier to have our car for the late nights - the kids can sleep in their own seats while we are enroute back to the hotel. Currently i have BC booked for the entire time.. but was thinking of doing a split stay- maybe 4 nights at bc and then 3 nights at AoA... is it worth it doing a split stay?.. has anyone ever dont a split stay? , is it worth it?

if you simply want more room - then BCV has studios, 1 or 2 bedrooms villas you can rent as well as the hotel rooms in BC.

the views are not as great - but BCV has acess to everything at BC.

the AOA is definitely cute!:hippie: and I have always like the quick service at a value or moderate a little more than at a deluxe.

Pop has excellent service in their food court (quick service) - so would expect AoA to be the same.

then if you want to stay at AoA because it is brand new can understand that one too.
