Torn! Need help from my fellow disers :)

My DH, DS (20), DD (23) and her husband are scheduled to cruise RC out of Tampa dec 28-jan2. I am looking for something special to do dec 25-28. I haven't been able to get to exicited for any of the beach hotels near Tampa. I am thinking Disney. Although we have been a lot lately and will be there again in June for my daughter wedding! Here is where I need help! What to do the 3 nights before cruise. I want xmas night to feel special as we have had a lot of family losses the past few years. So..... WL club level or BLT two bedroom for three nights? Which sounds better? Or if anyone else has any other ideas I am open to your thoughts! Thank you!!

Grand Floridian villas two bedroom. We lucked into a studio there 12/24-26 this year and it was amazing.

You're going on the cruise too, yes? You don't mention you.

Leave early for Tampa on cruise day please. Traffic can be icky and I believe Tampa is prone to fog problems.

I would pick the WL CL. We stayed there and loved it. I bet it is beautiful around Christmas. We also love the Poly - that is our go to resort. It is so beautiful and relaxing. The Poly CL is great too.

Are you going too? So you have 5 people? Or is it just them, so only have 4?

WL standard rooms only hold 4, so that's a consideration. The Deluxe Rooms hold 6, so that would be your only WL option unless you got two rooms. Note that the Deluxe Rooms at WL have CL access.

WL is gorgeous with all the holiday decorations. If you're just hoping to relax and enjoy the resort and feel the holiday spirit, WL is a great choice!

Haha yes I am good point. Grand Floridian would be perfect! Problem is I have a great dvc discounted cash rate at BLT that I would hate to spend significantly more for GF 2 bedroom on the main Disney site cash - if it was even available. Ughhhh thank you! I know nothing about cruising and picked the cruise based on the dates we were able to be away from home. I hope it's alright. It's the brilliance.

We love poly too! It's just with our group, we would requre 3 rooms. Poly club two bed is not available but would help the pricing a bit . We did stay poly club over Christmas three years ago. It would be great to do that again!

I would go with WL CL if you are talking about 2 rooms. Otherwise, i would go with the two bedroom BLT.
