We leave in 3 weeks and I have a torn meniscus. I am in a brace and we will look at all of our options when I return from my trip. I can walk okay at times and not so well at others. Stairs are also out. Is it possible to do Disney or should I reschedule?

I would suggest renting an ECV from an off site company. If you look at the FAQ's section at the start of the forum you can find all sorts of info out there about how Disney can help. If you don't want to get a ECV or wheelchair I suggest stopping at Guest Services at the first park you visit and ask for a Guest Assistance Card (GAC). Tell them that you need something to not do stairs. They aren't going to want a diagnosis nor are they going to request anything from your doctor. They just need to know what kind of accomidations that you might need that they can assist with. When you get to the rides, show the first CM you see the GAC and they will tell you what you are going to need do.

Post #6 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread has the information about Guest Assistance Cards the peemagg mentioned.

I agree that an ECV (power mobility scooter) would be helpful. Most people walk between 3 and 9 miles per day at WDW!
If you walk around World Showcase at Epcot, you will have walked well over a mile, just to go around (not walk into any of the countries to look around).
You can get a GAC that would allow you to avoid stairs, but there are only a few attractions that have stairs and a GAC will not shorten the distance you walk. Some of the lines are a very long distance - people have measured the distance from the queue entrance to the boarding area at Soarin' in Epcot and it is 1/4 mile. Then after riding, it will be the same distance to get back out.
Many attractions also have ramps, where you may be just walking up or down or standing for some time during the wait.
