Torn between 2 resorts

Which resort do you think is closer to both DS and Epcot? The All Star Music, or POR? Or is it a toss up?

Without looking at a map, I'm going to guess POR. I've been staying at POFQ on recent trips and felt the transportation to Epcot and DHS is pretty good - I used Epcot as a handy bus transfer point coming back from dinner at Artist Point.

I'm pretty sure POR is a lot closer/shorter trip to EPCOT, but is probably a toss up with the AllStars going to DHS.

The bus services IMHO we better at the values then at POR, but POR is such a gorgeous resort, with a lot of amenities.

We usually stay at POFQ and have walked over to POR. This past November had a brief stay at All Star Music. Fine for brief stay but would pay the extra for a mid-grade if going for a family trip. ASM room was very tiny and didn't feel as nice but for what I paid and the fact that you got all the Disney amenities - it wasn't bad. Just if you can afford it, I would go with POR.

It will be a two night stay, tacked on to the end of 5 days at CSR. I'm making myself crazy second guessing every decision. Thought ASMu would be fine for 2 nights. However we are going to be spending those 2 days in Epcot and the Disney Studios, and I know POR is very close to Epcot, and not that far from DS. So one one hand POR looks great. But on the last day we will be hitting AK for morning EMH. So ASMu would be great for that!

I really wish someone would tell me what to do!

HAHAHAH !!!! Either way you go, it'll be fine..We're not talking about a difference between a 10 minute trip, and a 35 minutes trip..It's literally a loss or gain of 5 minutes at best/worst..LoL

The only drawback is this. You're starting out at CSR, ( Which is our Fav. Mod b.t.w.) & this has IMHO the best bus system of all resorts, so anything will fail to compare to either one you pick.... Don't beat yourself up over this, just go with what your gut says. Me, I'd choose POR though...

I would choice POR too.

If it's at the end of the trip, I'd definitely go with POR. Downgrading is such a bummer.
