Which one would be best character Breakfast- Toppolinos or Chef Mickey for December 21? CM will start with characters in December 16. I have been to CM multiple times and it is the top request made by my kids but I just got a Toppolinos Breakfast on our departure date which was our CM date. So I don’t which one to keep.

Been to CM numerous times and always love the character experience. Never been to Toppolinos so given the opportunity, I’d give it a shot.

Topolino's is amazing. The food is great, the service outstanding, and the distanced character interaction is really cute. The characters (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy) are on vacation in Italy and are studying various arts (art, poetry, sculpting, dance) and are dressed accordingly. There's also a rooftop deck you can walk out on (you can't be seated for your meal out there) with some great views. I haven't been to Chef Mickey's in years so perhaps not a fair comparison but I can tell you that I'd go out of my way to hit Topolino's for breakfast (or dinner) - even without characters!

We have an ADR at CM. have never been to Toplinos. In looking at the menu it is a plated meal ordered from the menu. Chef Mickey is bringing the “buffet” to your table family style so seems like a better value. There is nothing exciting about the breakfast menu at Topolinos for our family. But if we were going for characters we’d go there.

I have never tried CM but it is on my list. I was fortunate enough to experience the character breakfast at Topolinos in September. The food was excellent and you can order extra if you are still hungry. I was really impressed with the service and food quality. The new menu for CM breakfast sounds good too. I think if I were in your shoes I would try Topolinos since you haven't been there yet. I'm sure it will be fun no matter what you choose.

I can eat at a good steakhouse for $30 or McDonald's for $7. Depends how you look at value.

Not saying food is that crazy different in the two and honestly for Breakfast I think it's a little overpriced at Topolinos unless they finally say it's all you care to eat (which some have reported is an unwritten rule).

I would say though I think any breakfast (especially character ones) are likely overpriced outside a hole in wall diner.

I guess I was thinking that for us, the variety of options make it likely that our family will feel like we got our money’s worth. $42 is pricey for any breakfast but a plated breakfast with limited options does not seem like a great value unless you are really wanting the characters or just want to see Topolinos. I honestly wish CM weren’t moving to a modified character experience. The increase in price to see a few characters is not worth it for us. I know others feel differently.

I ate at both in October. I had waffles at both. At Toppolinos, I had eggs and fruit instead of bacon with my waffles.Toppolino was amazing. The characters were fabulous!
