Top tip if you are staying at BLT and the Epcot Mono rail stops

Guys thought I should share this tip with you.

The other night due to storms the Epcot mono rail stopped. A replacement bus service to take guests to the Ticket and Transportation Centre was set up. As you could imagine a lot more people wanted to go on the bus than spaces were available . Lots of cross angry people having to wait. We spoke later to one group where it took 2 hours to get back to BLT.

We were at Epcot and travelling back to BLT. Instead of waiting for the TTC buses we got a bus to Wilderness lodge and changed at Wilderness lodge for the BLT bus. Most buses that go to Wilderness lodge stop at the BLT before they go to the other parks. We got back to BLT in 30 mins. It was really easy to do and was better than the monorail even on a good day.

Good thing to remember if the mono rail isn’t working.

Perhaps my coffee hasn't worked yet, but I'm a little confused. I was unaware of a bus at WL that actually goes to BLT/CR which is how I'm reading your post. Could you please clarify? Thanks!

Yes buses do go directly from WL to BLT.

You need to get a bus for say Animal Kingdom, Hollywood studios etc. On route to the park they stop at BLT. Just confirm with driver they are stopping at BLT. The bus takes 5 mins.

WL and CR tend to share buses just like GF and Poly. I just stayed at CR and every bus back to the resort stopped at WL first.

Okay, got it. That's what I thought and knew: some buses do stop at CR or WL on their way to or from parks. I was stuck on the semantics of "changed to the BLT bus." Thanks for the clarification!
