Top Ten TS Restaurants

My top 10:

1. Garden Grill dinner - we love everything about this place.. food, service, atmosphere and character interactions
2. Hoop Dee Doo Revue - our must do every trip! It just screams Disney to me!
3. Raglan Road - we love dinner here, they have such a great menu
4. Be Our Guest - dinner here is our favorite! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is just magical. Meeting the Beast at the end of the meal was fun
5. Via Napoli - best pizza on property, and the pasta dishes are great too! Love the desserts!
6. Yak & Yeti - love the food (tempura shrimp is amazing!) and the desserts are heaven!! Every time we have eaten here, we've been seated upstairs by a window. It is so nice to relax and look out into the park.
7. Kona Cafe - this is one of my favorite places for a nice breakfast without characters. Those macadamia nut pineapple pancakes are amazing!!!!
8. Cape May Cafe - we love both breakfast and dinner here. The buffet options are both meals are great!
9. The Plaza - great place for a nice meal without breaking the bank! This place is truly a gem
10. Grand Floridian Cafe - another one of my favorite places for a nice breakfast! We always book an early morning ADR here before a day in the MK. Great way to start the day.

My top 10 excluding Victoria & Albert's which is in a class of it's own.

  1. Narcoossee's: Our arrival night tradition. Love the atmosphere, the view and the food. The Almond Crusted Cheese Cake is outstanding.
  2. Jiko: Nice quiet place with excellent service. I can't pick out one favorite entree on the menu, they have all been good.
  3. Flying Fish: Love the Potato Wrapped Red Snapper and the Banana Napoleon is second to Narcoossee's Cheese Cake for dessert.
  4. Artist Point: The place is large and it is very quiet. Love the resort it is in. The Cedar Plank Salmon is excellent. From mid May to Mid June they have the Copper River Canyon salmon... It is simply the best salmon available.
  5. Yachtsman Steakhouse: I have yet to do Shula's ( I live not far from one) but YSH has been the best I have tried while in WDW. Head and shoulders above the one in the Canadian Pavilion (yes, I know it's name).
  6. Raglan Road: The first non signature to my list. I love the atmosphere and the food. My favorite is, "It's Not Bleedin' Chowder." The bread pudding is so hyped by many and worthy of it's praise, to say it is excellent is short changing it.
  7. Whispering Canyon Cafe: It is not 5 star cuisine, but I still love it. The skillet for me is good comfort food with BBQ ribs, pulled pork, BBQ chicken, corn bread and a few other items. I myself also love the antics at this place.
  8. Tokyo Dining: IMO, the friendliest service I have encountered at any WDW restaurant. Is it the best sushi, no... It's not even the best sushi in WDW, but it is still very good and I do love the atmosphere.
  9. Crystal Palace Breakfast: The only buffet on my list. I'm of the opinion buffet food is average at best and quickly goes down hill. Example would be Boma as average and Chef Mickey going down hill quickly and being terrible. I love the characters, the restaurant, early entry into the MK and the Breakfast Lasagna is more addicting than any drug.
  10. California Grill: I would rate this one several places higher if the last three times I've been there the service wasn't so bad. Twice it was the same server. The place is also extremely loud. I like the food and I'm going to give it one more chance this June. If the service is bad again I may have to write this place off.

In June I will be trying Blue Zoo, Morimoto's, Citricos and Boathouse for the first time. We'll see if any fall off my list.

Oh goodness. There's so many I like for different reasons (like OP said, food, atmosphere, characters) so I'm doing a top 10, no particular order:

  • California Grill: always a good experience, with amazing food and killer views!
  • Akershus: this is our arrival night tradition! I love the atmosphere and characters, and the food is just different enough to feel adventurous.
  • Be Our Guest: Love everything about it.
  • San Angel Inn: The food is good, but the atmosphere can't be beat. You really feel transported.
  • Le Cellier: Probably my favorite food in WDW.
  • Citricos: The food was AMAZING - so fresh, and with some cool flavors. We went for the first time in February and it's now on our "must do" list.
  • CRT: as others have said, the food is OK, but being in the castle is so cool, we keep going back.
  • Narcoosee's: Amazing food and service overlooking Seven Seas Lagoon. Another restaurant we tried that we can't wait to go back to!
  • HDDR: I was skeptical, but when we took my mom to WDW, she requested it - and we all loved it. The show was so funny, we literally lol'd at points!
  • Hollywood Brown Derby: Overall a great experience.
Places we want to try: Chefs de France, Tiffins (!!!), Tutto Italia, Artists Point.

Now I'm hungry. :rotfl:

Not in any order (since I like them for different reasons, so it's like apples/oranges), but here are my top 10:

Brown Derby
Tutto Italia
Teppan Edo
Rose & Crown
Mama Melrose
Restaurant Marrakesh
Chefs de France
Crystal Palace
Biergarten
Olivia's Cafe

Not one person mentioned The South American Crazy Corn at Paradiso 37? - One of the reasons I put up with all the traffic and construction at Disney Village/Downtown Disney/Disney Springs. [sorry feeling old school tonight :)]

Not in order but California Grill is definitely number one!!

California Grill
Chefs de France
Le Cellier
Coral Reef
Rose and Crown
'Ohana
Crystal Palace
Chef Mickey's
Teppan Edo
Artist Point

1. Sanaa
2. Narcoossees
3. Captain's Grille
4. Kona Cafe
5. Raglan Road
6. Fulton's
7. Il Mulino
8. Grand Floridian Cafe
9. Spice Road Table
10. Crystal Palace Breakfast

1. California Grill - I don't think we've found anything else that can compare to watching the sun set over the Seven Seas Lagoon from a window table at CG, and finishing our meal with Wishes from the balcony. Also love the flatbreads, sushi and filet.

2. Via Napoli - Not only is it one of the best values in Disney, the pizza SO good.

3. Ohana - Just plain fun, and I could eat an entire meal of just the noodles and bread pudding.

4. Cape May Cafe - We love the Beach Club and this is just a tradition for us, whether it's the breakfast character meal or the clam bake. Love the crab legs in the evening, this is just one of the meals we always try to squeeze in to our schedule.

5. La Hacienda de San Angel - Gorgeous view of the World Showcase lagoon, and the grilled platter for two is one of the best meals I've had in Disney.

6. Beaches and Cream - While the food is pretty basic diner food, we love stopping in for burgers, shakes and sundaes after an afternoon at Stormalong Bay. Sometimes the basics just hit the spot, and we've never been disappointed with a meal here.

7. Liberty Tree Tavern - We haven't done dinner, but we looove lunch! Perfect escape from the crowds for an hour, and love the Colony Salad with the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake for dessert!

8. Boma - So much variety and we just love visiting the Animal Kingdom Lodge! Breakfast and dinner are both wonderful.

9. Chef Mickey's - Okay, this pick is totally just for nostalgia! The food is absolutely mediocre and overpriced, but some of our favourite memories are at Chef Mickey's and it's just a classic. We try to go every few trips, and it's just totally fun.

10. Hoop De Do Revue - Does this count as a TS? Love making an evening of wandering through Fort Wilderness, visiting the stables, enjoying the show and then stuffing ourselves full of fried chicken and strawberry shortcake. Once of those experiences you just can't duplicate elsewhere!
