I received an e-mail from Disney Visa today that Disney on Ice is going to be in Atlanta 10/13/10-10/17/10 at Philips Arena, Toy Story 3.

What a cute story! I admit, drugging Eric for our red eye flight is a possibility, that kid will not sleep in a car....I was just thinking about this the other day. He's related to me so it probably wouldn't make him sleepy anyway, it doesn't do squat for me!

Men! I'll never understand them. My dad will sit on a boat ALL DAY LONG, baking in the sun, eating beannie weenies straight from the can, watching a cork bob up and down endlessly in the murky water, and he thinks that is pure bliss! But the thought of swimming in a crystal clear pool, eating at fabulous restaurants, watching Broadway quality shows, and riding super magical rides sounds like absolute torture! How do they rationalize things in their heads? It really is beyond me!

I'm very glad that your kids get it though! Maybe you have gotten to Connor early enough that you will be able to prevent him from taking on that same "man mentality" about life! I'm sure his future wife will thank you!

Connor is too funny with some of the things he comes up with. Last night, he was wearing his bathrobe and pretending to be a fence. He would come up to me, open his bathrobe displaying about five remotes, and say, "Can I interest you in a remote?" in one of those gravely voices. LOL!

I am really hoping for Food and Wine Charles. I always have grand plans for getting there so much earlier than we actually ever end up there. This year I am aiming for 1:00.

As you all know, Chelsea has a bit of a crush on Bo, but did you know that my husband also has his very own Disney crush?

He does!

I promise!

Only his Disney crush is a restaurant.

He is a bit obsessive when it comes to a certain Japanese restaurant named Teppan Edo. We discovered it on our June 2008 trip, and he hasn't stopped talking about it ever since. We ate there on our trip last year as well.

Well, when it came time to make ADRs for this trip, I was surprised when he decided to go with Tutto Italia and Le Cellier instead of his beloved Teppan Edo. I even asked him about that, and he insisted he wanted Tutto instead.

That was six months ago.

Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago.

Charles: Where are we eating on this trip?

I ran through the ressies.

Charles: What? No Teppan Edo?

Me: We decided to not do Teppan this trip. Remember?

Charles: WHAT??? I want to eat at Teppan Edo. The food is just so great there.

Me: You would have to give up Tutto Italia.

Charles: Okay.

Me: Sigh. I will see what I can do.

I was able to get a very early dinner reservation at Teppan Edo for the Sunday we arrive. Meanwhile, Chelsea was also clamoring for TE because she loves the chocolate ginger cake they have there, so Charles will get to experience his favorite Disney love.

And speaking of Chelsea's Disney crush, Bo, this was the conversation we had last night while mixing up cookie dough for chocolate chip cookies.

Chelsea: So, what did everyone say about my reaction to the reveal?

Me: They were all pleased that you were so excited. I have heard some disturbing news coming out of Disney though.

Chelsea: Did they get rid of Bo???

Me: Well, he is missing right now. One of the cast members said he was getting some "work done."

Chelsea: I hope he isn't getting plastic surgery!!!
