Oh, yeah, you're as bad as me!
You might want to bring a whole box of kleenex!
That pinata was one I found in my closet when I cleaned it out a few weeks ago -- it's actually from the Mexico pavilion at Epcot and judging where it was in the archeological dig that was my closet, it was purchased before kids. So, Connor apparently comes by his pinata fascination honestly.
How he found anything in that pit of a room is beyond me. My goal was to tackle his room prior to seeing the movie because I knew I would have a hard time doing it after the movie. I was right -- I don't know how I will be able to get rid of anything now!
I was commenting to a friend on FB that I wished more kids' movies were as nuanced and clever as this one was -- it's a shame Pixar can only get one film out a year -- they are the only ones who seem to be able to make a movie that appeals to both kids and adults.
Marc would like it, too, but that's all I can say -- I don't know how many (if any) of the reviews you have read about the movie yet, but there are definitely elements in it that guys would get a kick out of seeing.
Tissues and leave early for the movie -- then, you should be able to get good seats. We always try to head to the earliest showing because most people seem to like the mid-afternoon and evening shows the most.
If I could just slow it down a bit more...
You should do a group shot! After all, you have Wheezy and Mr. Potato Head, too. In fact, Connor said to me that he really needs one. I think I may pick up a basic one at Walmart and then, we can get some of the neat Disney parts while we are down there.
Take the pillow!
A lot of the kids were dressed in their Woody, Buzz, and Jessie costumes for the show. Connor remarked that they should have dressed up for the movie, too. You should have seen the look his sister gave him.
Yep, all three of us were crying -- it doesn't take much to set us off.
Um, there was only one part that I thought was pretty intense, but I think your son would be okay. I wouldn't have hesitated to take my two at that age. I would have just reminded them beforehand that the movie would have a happy ending.
Connor had a lot of fun with his toys this afternoon.
Is it terrible that I start crying just reading that I will be crying?
Love the picture of the toys and "new friends" especially the pinata.
Glad to see they are all so loved.
I will be a basket case starting to cry again right now since my DS loved Toy Story and grew up with it. He is 16 now and for the most part past the toy phase and on his way to being a grown up.![]()

Awww!!! I love his toy collection!!! That is amazing
We LOVED LOVED it!!! We all felt that it was SO well done. My hubby even shed a tear a few times. First good movie we have seen in a while!

I'm so jealous you were able to see Toy Story 3 today!! I have no idea when Marc & I are going to be able to go together.
One Month!!![]()

Tissues for the movie tomorrow...got it!I would totally have gone today except Greg actually wants to come to a movie with us (not sure all 4 of us have ever gone together) and he was at basketball. Hopefully we'll get decent seats!

I'm so glad to hear you guys loved TS3 - it sounds like everyone did! I can't wait to see it!
And I love how the movie "motivated" Connor to gather his toys and take a pictureThat helps to slow down the growing up a little bit, doesn't it?

If I could just slow it down a bit more...

I now feel the need to go and gather all of our Toy Story toys and take a group shot just like Connor. Think anyone with notice if I go to the movies next weekend with my big Chosen One pillow?

We say Toy Story 3 tonight and loved it! I cried at a few parts too...I'm such a sap! Well, my DD is emotional like me and she cried too. I too thought that the ending was perfect. What a fabulous movie!

We are going to see it on Sunday, I think. I read on Facebook that it has some scary parts. Do you think it is okay for an almost 3 year old? He loves TS 1 and 2!
Love Connor's toy picture!
