You can watch the fireworks from the bridge that goes from the Contemporary to Bay Lake Tower. They even pipe in the music.
Was a big plus as a BLT owner...would outcry be greater if animals removed from Kidani savanah?
The book that you get when you buy AKV, clearly states you are not guaranteed to have animals. When we first bought and I read that, I thought long and hard about going through with the purchase. We did, and have been very happy, because we enjoy savannah view rooms. But isn't that actually just implying that the animals may be in the barn or on the other side of the savannah, i.e. not guaranteed to be visible? The book that you get when you buy AKV, clearly states you are not guaranteed to have animals. I wouldn't completely put it past Disney to take the animals away, but when I read that, I assumed it meant that the animals would not always be visible, not that they were some kind of perk that Disney can remove on a whim.
I think it’s this. I may have even asked. My understanding is that is is saying animals are not part of the contract you are buying.
So, yes, they can indeed remove them. There are a lot of things in the contracts people don’t really process when buying.
That certain makes sense. I guess without animals the ambiance comes from the common areas of the buildings. I certainly hope we will always have the animals. You have a "savanna view" at AKV....not an "animal view". So, yes, the animals can be removed at any time, but I would certainly expect my dues to go down as the animal programs are a line item on my annual dues.
