Top of the World Access

We are new BLT owners and won't have our first vacation there until next year. However, we will be staying at the GF the first week of June.

Can we get access to the Top of the World lounge with our DVC Member cards (I can't remember if they show our home resort or not) being owners at BLT even though we are not staying there this time?

No- you can only get access when you are actually staying at the resort- it doesn't matter where you own but where you are staying for access.

Well actually that's not quite true. If you want to participate in a sales presentation you could get there that way. Show up in the lobby of BLT and ask about if or when the next presentation will be taking place.

You can talk to any blue-shirted DVC sales person in the parks/hotels and get a reservation to go to the event at BLT. That's how we got signed up.

You don't have any access to a DVC resort unless you are actually staying there. So if you own BCV points but are not staying there, you cannot swim at SAB. If you own AKV points, but are not staying there, you cannot swim at AKV.

If you are not staying on a DVC reservation using points, you don't get free internet, you can't pool hop.

So for your trip to GF, you won't be able to pool hop, get free internet, go up to the TOTWL, etc.
