Heading to Disney in May! I know its early and can only make reservations in March, but would like to look/research our choices for dining.

2 kids 2 adults and big foodies!!

We have not been since 2017 and know there are SOOOO many changes, updates and new additions!!!

What are your MUST eat places both for sit down and quick service at Parks, Resorts and DS and the best meal times (breakfast, lunch or dinner)

Thank you so much 🥰

Topolino’s Breakfast
Steakhouse 71 lunch (used to be The Wave, but I think it should be the same)

How old are your kids, are they boys or girls, and which Disney table service restaurants, if any, have you previously dined in?

Topolino's, Ohana or Trattoria al Forno for breakfast.
Lunch / Dinner.
California Grill
Steakhouse 71
Yak and Yeti
50's Prime Time
Cinderella's Royal Table
Le Cellier'

2 girls (8,11) I don’t think they would be interested in any character dining, so it’s not a priority.

In the past from what I recall would be:

CRT
Sanaa
Tuskers
Boma
Kona
Grand Floridian Cafe
Cape May
Ohana
Chef Mickey
Be our guest
Tony’s town square
The Wave

Definitely Topolino’s breakfast. Also try and get Space 2020 *LOUNGE*. We also enjoyed eating at the Improved H&V (their table service food was great in 2021), and Docking Bay 7 is good.

If you’ve never done the Sci-Fi diner, that is something unique that your kids might like. My daughter has always loved it and still requests it even now well into her teens (not a “foodie” experience, but the food is basic and fine).

Have not done this… but will add to List for experience for sure! Look pretty neat.

Breakfast: Trattoria al forno (Boardwalk), Cinderella’s Royal Table (MK), Tusker House (AK)
Lunch: Sci Fi (DHS), Via Napoli (EPCOT), ABC Comissary (DHS-it’s quick service but worth it)
Dinner: Le Cellier (EPCOT), Teppan Edo (EPCOT), Homecomin (Disney Springs), Raglan Road (DS)

So many to choose from. Big fans of Tusker House, Be Our Guest, and Sci-Fi. We leave in 5 days and trying so many new things this go round so excited to have more favorites.

I see a lot of people recommending Cinderella's Royal Table on here. My daughter is Cinderella obsessed so I was thinking of trying to get a breakfast reservation there but I read somewhere that post-covid, Cinderella just comes out and waves. Is that the case, and if so, is it still enough of an "experience" to be worth the gigantic price tag?

My wife has always wanted to eat in the castle so even if it's just Cinderella from a distance, it's still a must I think. We have a breakfast reservation for 2/7/22.

It is worth it because you get to eat in the castle. Our first time eating there was post covid. I was able to get some great pictures of the inside of the castle and from the castle and of the Cinderella statue because we were there prior to park opening. And the food was actually really good-not as bad as others said. I don’t know if it’s cuz they had to change the menu due to Covid, but it was worth it.

Here are our favorites:

WL - WCC breakfast.
AKL - Boma breakfast and dinner.
YC - Ale &Compass breakfast.
MK - Tony’s, LTT, BOG
Epcot - Space220, Chefs, Tutto Italia, Le Cellier, Coral Reef
DHS - HBD, 50’s PTC, PizzaRizzo
AK- Rainforest Cafe, Pizzafari.
Disney Springs - The Boathouse.

When can you normally get a yak and yeti reservation 60 days +?
we got ours on 60+2 but it wasn’t available when we booked on 60 days out. A few days later my notification from touring plans reservation finder came through and I found a few openings for the same day.
