Currently these are our Top 5 (our last trip was 1/2008), but we're going back soon to try new ones.
1. California Grill - this place is incredible, especially if you are able to grab a window seat for wishes. The wine list is amazing, and so is the food.
One member in out party is a strict vegetarian, and this is his favorite place, extremely accommodating (not the usual plate full of sides, or entree lacking protein.)
2. Flying Fish - a smaller restaurant, but my favorite on the Boardwalk. The fish has always been great, and the ladies love their deconstructed caeser salad.
3. Bistro de Paris - We chose the to have the tasting menu with wine pairings. It was a bit steep ($150/ea, or so), but the meal was incredible. Many classic French preparations of Foie Gras, Duck l'orange, venison, etc. Another appealing part is grabbing a nice window seat for the evening show, and eating until after the park is closed. You are then whimsically walked out by a guard, that keeps his distance, so you can enjoy the sites, and feeling of being the only ones experiencing Epcot at that moment of time. (This only occurred when staying at the Wilderness Lodge, normally we stay in the Epcot area, and would have had a short walk to the back gate).
4. Biergarten - This is probably an acquired taste. My grandparents, both German, brought us here every Thanksgiving for about 7 years straight. I love returning here every time we go as an homage for them. (I always get pictures with some of the staff that my girlfriend says look like my twins). Also the beer is great, generous tasting portions if you get the sampler. The sausages are top notch, and they even have frankfurters for the children. I prefer to go here for lunch now. There is also a live show that goes on throughout the meal, it hasn't changed much since I was going there as a child.
5. Wolfgang Puck Cafe in DownTown Disney. The best squash soup I've ever had, very nice sushi (only had rolls), and the wienerschnitzel is exceptional (although doesn't appear on their online menu). The best pizza in Disney too!
I can't wait to get back down and try everyones favorites!
Disclaimer - I have never been to Ohana, Teppan Edo, Artist's Point, anywhere at AKL, and many more... The only place I didn't really care for was BlueZoo, it was more expensive than FlyingFish and CaliGrill with inferior food, rude waitstaff, and an incredible waste of lobster. I had their signature Two-pound Maine "Cantonese" Lobster - fried and tossed in sticky soy glaze $60. It was sweet, and could have been any meat, after covered in batter and that sauce, the lobster was lost.
