In the early planning stages for our October 2012 trip!

What would you say are your favorite 5 WDW restaurants?!

I've been planning for months and I'm leaving in November!

Today was the day I made my ADRs. Well, actually my TA made them for me.

I booked reservations at the Germany, France, Japan, Canada, and Italy pavillions. I also booked dinner at the Coral Reef and Liberty Bell restaurants. They were all my first choices so I am pretty pleased!

Good luck with your plans! You should be able to make your ADRs too!

Hi: You didn't mention if you have kids going or if you are interested in character meals. We always do Crystal Palace for dinner. We've done it for breakfast, too. Pooh Characters are there. The food is buffet, but very yummy. Probably one of the better buffets. We also always do O'hana (not the dinner show) at the Polynesian. It is a wonderful meal and by far our favorite. Mexico and Via Napoli are good at Epcot. If you do want character meals, then 1900 Park Fare dinner at the Grand Floridian is a nice buffet, but a little noisy. Chef Mickey at the Contemporary has an okay buffet but the characters are good. Lots of fun at Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge. The food is plentiful and yummy, too. Hope that this is helpful.

Our favs (mine and dd who is 13)...

1. The Wave (all meals)
2. CP - lunch
3. Paradiso 37
4. Cape May Cafe - character breakfast
5. Jiko

1. Flying Fish Cafe
2. Citrico's
3. California Grill
4. Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch)
5. Boma (dinner)

We go with older, adventurous kids.
1. Tokyo Dining
2. Ragland Road
3. Wolfgang Puck's
4. 50's Prime Time (for the fun more than the food)
5. Something new - we always try a few places we've never been.

First, welcome to the Dis!
Based on your avatar, it looks like you have a couple of kids with you.

It sounds like you'll be there for the Epcot Food and Wine, so some snacking may get you by if you're kids are adventurous.

I travel with my daughter she's now 7, we've been going since she was 3.

Our favorites are

Garden Grill - all you can eat, family style: there is a separate menu for kids, just ask. Great interaction with Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale

Animal Kingdom - Flame Tree Bar-B-Que. Great value if you're on the dining plan.

Park Faire Superkalifragalistic Breakfast. Good food, and if you're paying out of pocket, and good value, too!

Akershaus - Princesses, need I say more?

Not a restaurant, but my DD's favorite thing is the Wishes Desert party. It's our one "Must Do" each trip!
