I'm planing a trip in September, I want to know your top 5 must go restaurants. If this was your trip what places do you feel can't miss. I'm not just looking for fine dining, What's the best for the money what's the best for the quality.

Thanks all
Earl

Top five in no particular order:

1. V&As - can't go wrong, dining as a true experience, always a magical dinner
2. Jiko - maybe the best food on property (except V&As) and a great atmosphere
3. Kona Cafe - Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner - you can't go wrong.
4. California Grill - It has slipped during my last two visits, but it is still great food and and outstanding view.
5. BlueZoo - Unique style and great food. Some of the best service I have ever had anywhere.

Honorable mention: Sommerfest for a Brat, Marrakesh at lunch, Citricos - may steal CG's spot in my top five, Columbia Harbor House, Boma.

OK- now I am hungry!!!:stir:

Top five? Ours would be:
1 Vickie & Al's
2 Artist Point
3 Yachtsman Steakhouse
4 Jiko
5 Bistro de Paris

My top 5:

1. V&A
2. Bistro de Paris
3. bluezoo
4. Jiko
5. BOMA

1. Yachtsman Steakhouse
2. Cape May Cafe (Breakfast)
3. Kona (Breakfast)
4. 1900 Park Fare
5. Plaza Restaurant

Removing Victoria & Albert's from the mix, as it is in a class all its own.

Our Top 5 must dos are:

1. Yachtsman Steakhouse
2. Flying Fish
3. Citricos
4. Jiko
5. Boma (for breakfast)

All the posts are great. Many are fine dining and you wanted to know about value, too.

Biergarten is one of our favorites - kitschy entertainment, but the food is consistent and plentiful and a fun atmosphere. Also, we like Ohana, Kona Cafe, Teppan Edo and California Grill.

I think eventually all the Disney restaurants will be on this post!

Good luck in your selections...

1. Le Cellier
2. Coral Reef
3. Liberty Tree Tavern
4. Whispering Canyon Cafe
5. 50's Prime Time Cafe

LeCellier, Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, Cinderella's Royal Table, as chosen by my DD7.

V&A's, CG and Boma are the restaurants we hit on every trip. We also enjoy Shula's and Beaches and Cream.

1. le cellier
2. crystal palace
3. chef mickey's
4. scifi
5. cosmic rays (this is counter service but we love it, good quick food)

1. Jiko
2. Flying Fish
3. BlueZoo
4. Cape May (character breakfast)
5. Grand Floridian Cafe (lunch)

Here are our top five (and please note that we do not do signature restaurants...we are simple eaters and don't like fancy food):

1. LeCellier
2. Crystal Palace (breakfast)
3. Biergarten
4. Plaza Restaurant
5. Rose and Crown

One of those may change after we try Boma's this year after looking at the reviews and the pictures of the food.

Something that hasn't been mentioned...The Earl of Sandwich. It's the most incredible sandwich you've ever put in your mouth! It's also a superb value.

Some of our other must do's are:

Le Cellier @ EPCOT(although we haven't been able to get ressie's the last 2 years-we're finally going back this year!)

Chef Mickey's @ Contemporary (fun for the whole family)

Coral Reef @ EPCOT (chocolate wave is fantastic and who wouldn't want to dine by a huge aquarium)

Whispering Canyon Cafe @ Wilderness Lodge (sure to make you laugh and it's always fun to be able to shout as loud as you can at dinner and fit right in)

Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe @ Magic Kingdom (eat on the terrace...you'll be overlooking Magic Kingdom)

Aloha Isle @ Magic Kingdom (get a dole whip for a snack- DH looks forward to these EVERY year!)

Kona Cafe @ Poly (we ate there last year, I was pregnant and couldn't eat, but my family named it favorite meal of the trip. i'm going to see what all the fuss was about this year)

Flame Tree BBQ at Animal Kingdom (we always get the a chicken plate and a fruit plate and split both--yummy)

I know this was more than 5, but hopefully it helped some. Good luck making your choices...eating's half the fun of going!! Enjoy all of those family memories you're going to be making!!

Our list is not based on what we think is the best food -- it's a combination of food, atmosphere, family fun, family memories.
Our absolute never-miss restaurants:

1) Liberty Tree Dinner
2) Chef Mickey breakfast

Virtual no-miss:
3) Prime Time (food is actually very good, very satisfying)

Like-It-A-Lot:
4) Kona (breakfast or dinner)
5) Crystal Palace breakfast

LeCellier is very good -- but it's gotten overrated and impossible to get anyway.
Maybe our most special dinner of all is what we call our 'Round-the-World dinner. We literally walk from one end of the World Showcase at Epcot to the other and each family member buys whatever catches their eye at the outdoor kiosks (no one goes inside a restaurant). My favorite part is sampling a beer at each and every country. :)

This info is great, thanx to everyone who has posted and to everyone who will post. This stuff will help alot of new comers.

1. Chef Mickey's

2. Crystal Palace

3. Liberty Tree Tavern

4. Coral Reef

5. 50's Prime Time Cafe
