California Grill may be true! I thought about trying just because of the fireworks but their menu is really just not my cup of tea, but we've always wanted to try Coral Reef but never been able to.
We ate dinner last year at the California Grill during the fireworks. As much as it sounds nice to be in the restaurant during the fireworks, there is a SLIM chance your table will actually have a great view of the fireworks. We were put far in the back of the restaurant out of view of the castle. So, with all the hype I heard about being a CG during Wishes, you can have it!!! We ended up getting up from our table and huddled onto the outside viewing area with at least a hundred other people. All the children had to be held to see over the railing. We ended up leaving and headed back insided to eat our now cold dinner.
Never again!!! We had a much better experience booking a late ADR at 'Ohana and watching Wishes from the beach at The Poly and then heading up for dinner.

C'est la vie! We have great ressies and I'm excited to try 3 new places for us this time (Coral Reef, Whispering Canyon, and Teppan Edo)
Now I can relax and just count down the days til we leave.
