Top 5+ Most Difficult ADRs To Get?

My experience would be:

V&A Chefs Table
Le Cellier dinner
'Ohana dinner
CRT breakfast
1900 Park Fare dinner

I was thinking of switching my Kouzzina ressie to a character meal and Chef Mickey and CRT dinner that night were both available (at about 85 days out), but 1900 Park Fare was booked up.

it was GQ that had a list of the five hardest reservations to get in the US. V&A chef's table was on the list along with French Laundry, Per Se, Alinea and, if I remember correctly, Babbo.

I honestly feel like The Plaza is the new Le Cellier. :rolleyes1 We had it booked two times for a short weekend trip in October and another two times for our trip in December, and even trying to adjust the times by an hour I was getting no availability. I think the secret is officially out.

Here's my list:

#5 Victoria & Albert's (Chef's Table)
#4 'Ohana (dinner)
#3 CRT (breakfast)
#2 Tusker House (breakfast)

#1 Le Cellier (dinner)

:thumbsup2 We have The Plaza booked for our upcoming trip. I figured it would be a great alternative to the counter-service at the MK.

Agreed---which is why we have it booked so many times. :rotfl2: We aren't thrilled with the dining in the MK and don't always want to hop the monorail to a hotel, so the Plaza seems like the perfect place to grab some grub and not have to spend much more than $15 per person.

I agree! We usually get a couple of cinnamon rolls and take them over to the yellow umbrella tables and chairs in front of the Plaza to eat every trip (yay traditions :) ). When we were there a month ago (before Free Dining started) there were a TON of people waiting to get in to the Plaza. I've never seen it so crowded.

We ate there back in 2001 and it was so quiet and empty I expected a tumbleweed to come blowing across the floor. Their food is decent and I would say it is the best TS meal in MK (which I don't know if that's saying much ).

I had lots of options for SciFi and Plaza times when I called. Hope they are as good as they sound.

I just booked our ADRs for our upcoming trip (about 6 weeks away). I was pleasantly surprised by all the ADRS I was able to get.

Ohana 6:45 dinner on a Saturday night.
Chef Mickey 6:45 Dinner
2 Hollywood & Vine 8:05 Breakfasts
1900 Park Fare 7:15 Dinner on a Friday night.
Safari Breakfast 10:05 Breakfast
Cape May 9:20 Breakfast

I couldn't get CRT. Even though the 13 year old daughter would never admit to it I think she would have liked eating there, same for the boys.

As someone who books Disney dining all day long:

1. Fantasmic Dinner Package
2. Le Cellier
3. CRT B'fast
3. Chef Mickey for normal dinner times
4. Donald's Safari B'fast
5. Akershus B'fast
6. Ohana

LeCellier has 40 tables and seats just 160, so its full quickly.
CM and Ohana are large restaurants so you can often get a table, but it might be a pretty late one.
CRT is not the hottest ticket in Disney with it being two credits on the dining plan, but should be booked early to avoid disappointment.

I have found Prime Time 50's Cafe to be tough; I got a 4:30 pm dining, so it was no problem. It was all about the experience.

I also had to hit Whispering Canyon at WL a couple of times to get a good dinner time.

This is just my opinion, but I would say:

1. CRT (especially breakfast)
2. Le Cellier (dinner)
3. Fantasmic package
4. Ohana dinner
5. Chef Mickey's breakfast

I got EXTREMELY lucky this year and was able to get 4 out of 5 that I listed. The one that got away? Fantasmic package. And I called on my 90-day mark at 6 a.m. my time (7 a.m. there).

1. Chef Mickey
2. CRT
3. Ohana
4. LC
5. CP

Also when I was here last week we had 12 resturants that we went to.
All pouplar places I seen ppl getting turned away from everyone. It was crazy.

My mom's there this week going to 6 different ones and she told me the same thing ppl getting turned away.

So any more it's hard to get in a lot of places you just need to be ready and on the phone or online when your time is ready and hope for the best.

Chef's Table at V&A (hardest ADR to get on property, by far)
Good seating at HDDR
Le Cellier (dinner)
CG for fireworks (fortunately we only go after the fireworks are over so not a problem for us)

We've not had problems with anything else, e.g., CRT for lunch, Chef Mickey's, etc.

We sometimes have trouble getting a decent time at Mama Melrose. I think it may be because many people book the Fantasmic package there.

Cool, thank you all for the info. I had never heard Le Cellier till I came on to the boards but I guess that's the place to be lol. I looked at the menu and it looks really good. I guess I'll be going for that one when I make my ADRs. CRT is our top priority though.

based on the ADR's we mad for our August 2009 trip:

1. 'Ohana
2. Chef Mickey's
3. Le Cellier
4. CRT
5. Donald's Safari Breakfast (Tusker House)

Yeah that's pretty much mine list too. Although I might take off Coral reef and add Cali Grill. Every since folks learned about viewing the fireworks from up there, it's booked up quick;)

California Grill may be true! I thought about trying just because of the fireworks but their menu is really just not my cup of tea, but we've always wanted to try Coral Reef but never been able to.
