I get almost every city is crappy in its own way, but just a fun answer and why

3. Vegas - I love Neon , steal and concrete (puts me in the mood, lol)
2. San Fransisco - I know , the poop and homeless all over, but you have the bay, the bridges, the mountains, the hills, the lights
1. Paris - (two reasons) because everyone say Paris , and I like Paris hotel in Vegas

I have to agree with Vegas, maybe because it's kind of wild and kid free when we go.

The central coast of California - another kid free get away

Napa Valley - wine tasting without the kids

Maybe anywhere without the kids is good for me... LOL

Mendocino California. Pretty headlands all around. Bed and breakfasts. Wineries nearby.

Lake Tahoe Several cities. California/Nevada. Beautiful alpine lake. The casinos don't have the glitz of Vegas, but Vegas doesn't have anything like this either.

Taken literally it's Las Vegas with over 100,000 weddings a year.

So number one for me has to be New York, because it’s my home city, it’s so familiar and I’ve had many romantic encounters among other kinds, LOL. The city that never sleeps, always something to do at any time.

Second is somewhere in Hawaii, probably Maui, because it’s where DH and I honeymooned and will always be special. Lots of beautiful beaches, waterfalls, rainbows, etc.

Third is Florence, my favorite city in Italy. Amazing food and wine, walking along the river, beautiful piazzas and gardens, and the scenic Tuscan countryside. And the Italian language is romantic. :lovestruc

Paris - So cliche, but so true
Old Quebec - A bit of the old world in the new world
Kauai - Very scenic and chill

Honourable mention: Lake Louise, Alberta. Go to the Fairmont and just enjoy the view.
And of course, as long as I'm with my wife and kids, there's no place I'd rather be

Cardiff... stunning castles, beautiful river walks, deserted beaches, miles of coastal paths, Victorian shopping arcades, wonderful parks, lots of quirky little independent shops, restaurants and cafes, Cathedrals and interesting architecture, and we have Rodin’s The Kiss.

Barcelona and Rome.

So many possibilities..
Paris, of course.
Barcelona is right for so many reasons and walking on the Ramblas is good any time of day but especially at night.
Quebec because it's easy to get to from the NE, is similar to France but not (love the New World version of French), and I can eat cretons every morning and walk them off every day..if I'm lucky.
I bet I could find joy in the Keys but haven't been there yet.
